Wear Syar'i Hijab is Hard (English Version)

In this edition we're telling story about women's struggle for hijab (covering the head and the body). This women was a girl who was born in family which had common knowledge about Islam. Not only her family but also her environment, they thought Islam was strange, and wear jilbab was something like: "Hell no! Put on that things right here?"

She passed her SD and SLTP (as know as SMP) periode so ordinary without religion improvement. And then she continued her education to SMAN 2 Cirebon with compulsion things, because in the fact she wanted continue her education at nursing academy, but she got no permit from her parents. Finally, in Smanda she found guidance (hidayah).

She learned Islam more better, importance of hijab and kholwat. She attended MAPRAS (as know as MOS) or period when various organisation school promoted their club. Besides Scout (PRAMUKA, all SMANDA student must attending Scout), she also attended PRISMANDA (Perpustakaan Islam Smanda). She tought that Prismanda was Library club for typical student and of course the member of this club were bookworm. But when she walked into library, she saw uncommon view. The room was being separated between girls and boys, it also full of large-veiled girls (in 90's people thought so queer of large veil).

The room was crowded by student, they used cupboard to bordering between pray room and gathering room. She was so interested and currious to know the girls better, people used to call them as akhwat. They accepted her so friendly, not only say hi, they also kissed her chicks and hugged her wherever she was.

Mostly, her senior wore cadar already. Imagine that! Cadar? In 90's? But unfortunately they had put cadar off when they walked enter the school, they used 1,5 x 1,5 m veil to covering their face at the school. It happened alike to the boys (as know as ikhwan), they wore 5/8 pants at the school bravely, because they fought of isbal.

When she was 1st grade 2nd semester, she with her 7 friends decided to wear jilbab and cadar. Was is really no half-hearted, right? They decided the strong ukhuwah, besides they protected themselves by comunicating between girls and boys (ikhtilat). In 90's people thought Hijab was something freaks and they fought of it. Therefore, ikhwan always tried to protect them by accompany the girls when they went home. The Girls often got mock by those people, people also sreamed at them and told them, "I'll pull it out your veil sometime!"

Thats all the story about the girl who struggled for the perfect hijab. At this moment, she's subjugating her life as teacher at As-Sunnah. The school which established by her smanda senior (one school which being hated by her). But now? All Prise is due to Allah, because at she learned Salaf for the first time at Smanda. She's sharing Every Islam Knowledge at her lovely school now: AS-SUNNAH.

We hope this story gives us enlightenment, therefore we can make our hijab better than before and also keep always on guard against kholwat.
